Welcome to the February 2026 edition of The Leadership Brief. This month, we’re sharing key updates across LENS, NCAF, USCIPP—what’s launching, what’s coming next, and where members can plug in to shape the work ahead. What we’re focused on and why it matters
• Launching our Member Recognition Spotlights to celebrate leaders and organizations driving meaningful impact—because good work deserves visibility and it strengthens our shared learning community. (For example, this newsletter!)
• Building momentum for 2026 USCIPP, NCAF, & LENS priorities (benchmarking, council engagement, and cross-member collaboration)—because alignment now sets up stronger participation and cleaner insights later in the year.
• Expanding member touchpoints (webinars and convenings) to keep connection high and barriers low—because consistent engagement improves outcomes and accelerates adoption of what works.

Message from Our Leadership Team
I’m honored to step in as Interim CEO of NCHL and to join you in the shared work of advancing healthcare leadership. Throughout my career, I’ve seen that values-driven leadership and strong culture are not “nice to have”—they are performance essentials, particularly during periods of rapid change. In this interim role, my priorities are to support continuity, keep our strategic work moving forward, and help NCHL remain a trusted convener where leaders connect, learn, and collaborate. I’m committed to listening closely to members and partners and to ensuring our efforts stay grounded in real-world needs and measurable value. I look forward to working alongside you as we help leaders make a positive difference in the moments that matter most.
