The Roberson baseball team poses on the pitcher's mound after winning the championship.

POST OF THE WEEK: βšΎπŸ† T.C. Roberson High School made North Carolina high school baseball history, as the Rams earned a third consecutive 4A North Carolina baseball championship Saturday afternoon in Burlington.

“This is something you’ll always remember,” said head coach Eric Filipek, addressing his seniors as the team celebrated on the field. “You’ll talk about years from now when you’re together at your weddings. You’ll talk about it over campfires. You’ve done something that’s never been done before. Underclassmen, this team has given you the blueprint to keep this going.”

Also, check out photos of a send-off celebration that happened at Roberson on Friday as the team prepared to leave for the championship series.
