POST OF THE WEEK: πŸ’‘πŸ’‘πŸ’‘ North Buncombe High School Earns Spot on AP School Honor Roll
 
The College Board has named North Buncombe High School to this year’s Advanced Placement (AP) School Honor Roll. Schools earn the distinction based on the achievement of the previous year’s graduating class. The criteria include:
 
  • College Culture: 40% or more of the graduating class took at least one AP Exam during high school.
 
  • College Credit: 25% or more of the graduating class scored a three or higher on at least one AP Exam during high school.
 
  • College Optimization: 2% or more of the graduating class took five or more AP Exams during high school, with at least one exam taken in 9th or 10th grade, so that students are spread their AP experience across grades.
