UCLouvain is launching a consultation with its entire academic and research community to gain a better understanding of how research contributes to society, and how best to support these contributions

What will the results be used for?
Your responses will help us to better target the resources made available to you, identify funding that meets your needs, and strengthen our advocacy efforts with funding bodies.

Practical information
The questionnaire takes about 15-20 minutes to complete. Your answers will be treated confidentially, anonymised, and analysed solely in aggregate form.

Joël FICET
Research Coordinator
How can he help you?
IPSY’s Research Coordinator provides personalized support to all members of the Institute (researchers, academics, and the CORSCI) at every stage of the development of their research projects: identifying relevant calls for proposals, drafting and proofreading applications, liaising with the ADRE and funding agencies, preparing budgets, drafting data management plans, developing publication strategies, ensuring open access compliance, etc. The Coordinator also supports applicants for FNRS mandates.

Horizon Europe / COST (reminder)
The next closing date will be in October 2026.
Participants planning to submit a proposal for a COST Action will need to refer to the COST Open Call proposers guidelines and to the Open Call Announcement that will be available in Spring 2026.
COST is a scientific cooperation structure whose activities take the form of Actions. A COST Action is a network of researchers based on a memorandum of understanding.
Success rate: +/- 40%.
Eligible expenses are related to research coordination and networking activities (travel, accommodation, conferences, outreach activities, etc.). COST does not directly fund research.
