One of the problems with AI in general is that it isn't good enough yet to live up to the hype. The other problem is that it will be soon, so we have to pay attention and try to keep up with the steep learning curve. This week, Microsoft introduced yet another blog, Copilot Release Notes. I've added it to my watch list for this newsletter.
One trend to watch carefully is Microsoft's entry into agentic AI. They have invested heavily into sales agents and security agents. Be sure to read about the sales agents and keep a close eye on this topic. It's related to Copilot doing real work independently from humans and the target is white collar jobs.
On the tech grind side of the coin, we've got some practical prompts, a reminder of how to use Zip your users might appreciate, a practical guide to regaining control of a hacked email account and a big issue for those using Sharepoint B2B.
