POST OF THE WEEK: 🎓🎓🎓 BCS Celebrates Mid-Year Graduates

Congratulations to the first graduates of the Class of 2026!

Eight BCS high schools held individual ceremonies after winter weather canceled the original ceremony planned for Harrah’s Cherokee Center Asheville. Despite the disruption, students, families, staff, and administrators gathered to make each celebration memorable. Chorus students and color guards led the National Anthem, speakers gave inspiring words to their now former students, and family members posed with flowers, balloons, and beautiful smiles.

During Love the Bus Week, we’re celebrating the incredible BCS bus drivers who are often the very first smile our students see each morning and the last friendly wave at the end of the day. They navigate early mornings, busy roads, and changing weather — all while keeping safety their top priority. Beyond the miles they drive, they build relationships, offer encouragement, and help start each school day on the right foot. We are so grateful for each and every one of you and the care you show our students every single day. 🚌
