SCHOOL POST OF THE WEEK: Valley Springs Middle School

On Friday, our 7th grade AIG students took the stage and presented their Shark Tank business ideas in front of a panel of “Sharks.” Students researched real-world problems, developed innovative products or services, created budgets and pricing models, and delivered persuasive pitches backed by data and reasoning.

This project challenged students to think like entrepreneurs—combining creativity, critical thinking, communication skills, and applied math—while gaining experience presenting in a high-stakes, professional setting.

The top 10 teams (will be announced by Friday) will advance to 🦈 Night of the Sharks, where they will present their refined pitches to a larger audience. Due to weather, this event will be rescheduled, and a new date will be announced soon.

We are so proud of the confidence, innovation, and hard work these students demonstrated!
