Supporting IT Professionals is all we do

This week the USA entered the war between Iran and Israel. Do we have tech worries? Yes we do. Iran has a very capable cyber war unit that has hit the UK, USA and Israel in the recent past. Seems reasonable to assume that we'll see an uptick in that activity now. Though we don't get deep into security in this newsletter; I've included an article on this topic.

There are a few topics this week that are dear to me. I've long asked admins to set restraints on how applications get access to data and now Microsoft is making those settings a new default! The other one, is Entra Join. Just do it. Life for your users becomes so much simpler, the devices get cleaner and safer too.

I've also included a couple of articles for you to share with helpdesk staff and customers. Laptop power settings and using document templates on your iPhone. They'll be sure to thank you.

I hope you find this week's newsletter useful and encourage others to sign up!

thanks, Amy
