250th Anniversary of the Marine Corps

This year marks the 250th Anniversary of the Marine Corps — oorah! You can honor this milestone by joining the 250th Anniversary Legacy Challenge.
 
You’ve supported MCHF generously through checks, credit cards, and DAF grants. Now, you can make an even greater impact by including MCHF in your will, trust, IRA, or financial accounts—at no cost to you today. Here’s why 2025 is the ideal year to act:
 
  • A group of donors has created a $500,000 Legacy Challenge Fund.
  • When you document an estate gift, MCHF immediately receives 10% of its value in cash today.
  • Example: A $50,000 estate gift triggers an immediate $5,000 gift right now.
 
Your estate gift secures MCHF’s future; the match provides resources today.

Since launching the Legacy Challenge, MCHF has confirmed $1.8 million in new commitments, unlocking $180,000 in matching funds. More than $300,000 in matching funds remain — but only if we act before December 31.

HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP:

  1. If MCHF is already in your estate plans: Complete the gift notification form. (Even if you don’t share the amount, MCHF receives $1,000 in matching funds.)

  2. If you haven’t yet included MCHF: Update your will/trust or simply change a beneficiary designation (IRA, investment, or savings account). Then, send in the notification form by year-end.
 
We need your help to secure the remaining matching funds before December 31. Please take the 250th Anniversary Legacy Challenge today.
