POST OF THE WEEK: 🍲🎁 BCS Celebrates Maintenance Teammates During Holiday Breakfast

Buncombe County Schools recognized the dedication of its Maintenance Department during the district’s annual Maintenance Holiday Breakfast, an event held to honor the often-unseen work of the teammates who keep school buildings and grounds running smoothly.

Maintenance team members are responsible for ensuring school facilities remain safe, warm, and inviting for students and staff throughout the year. While much of their work happens behind the scenes, the breakfast provided an opportunity to highlight the critical role these men and women play across the district.

SCHOOL POST OF THE WEEK: North Buncombe High School

North Buncombe is heading into holiday break with full hearts and full stomachs! ✨
It’s been a festive week on campus:

• Math meets snacks: Mrs. Clark’s Math 1 students took their lessons to the next level by creating "delicious parabolas." Who knew graphing could taste this good? 📈🍪
• Warm treats: Our amazing students were treated to a cozy hot chocolate bar in the cafeteria! ☕️🍫
• Staff Shenanigans: Our hardworking faculty and staff took a moment to celebrate together with a fun Christmas party and an incredible spread of food. 🎄🍽️

We are so proud of our Blackhawks and wish everyone a safe, happy, and restful holiday break! See you in the New Year! ❄️❤️
