Mission Statement

ZOOM is a nonprofit offering affordable places to live to unhoused youth transitioning from Michigan's foster care system. Intervening at a critical time in their development, ZOOM empowers them to avoid and to overcome barriers that youth in their population often face, including limited education, high incarceration rates, and early parenthood.

With a scholarship, ZOOM's Executive Director (ED) will participate in the Nonprofit Network's ED Academy Fall 2025 on Zoom from September 2025 - January 2026.

Nonprofit Network provides vital support to our Director across several key areas:

Executive and Team Coaching
Managing finances, including donations and grants.
Meeting, Training, Retreat Facilitation.
Organizational Assessment and Audits
Strategic, Operational, Succession, and Crisis Planning
Assisting the board and recruiting new members.
Ensuring compliance.
Engaging in fundraising and grant writing.
Advancing understanding of equity and social justice.
