2IP : a protocol for open and low-cost six-plex immunofluorescence with a proof-of-concept study on breast cancer tissue
Multiplex immunohistofluorescence (mIHF) allows to investigate protein (co)-localisation in the tumour microenvironment, which can facilitate research on carcinogenesis.
The 2IP platform proposes an open, flexible and cost-effective six-plex protocol (Flex-6 mIHF) with a demonstrated feasibility on challenging tissue containing fat such as breast cancer tissues.

The interest in the equipment management, inventory, and reservation system is being confirmed!
Two new research groups within the ELI and LDRI institutes have expressed their interest.
The idea of using this management system to inventory equipment that is no longer in use but still operational is also gaining traction within the ADPI unit.
Through the encoding carried out, an inventory of the main equipment is gradually being compiled at UCLouvain level.
The advantage? Knowing that cutting-edge equipment exists within the University and who to contact!
